Ramadhan

Alhamdulillah, Ramadhan Mubarak to all! Its been 1 week of fasting and there's 3 more weeks to go. Time flies really fast nowadays isnt it. Ramadhan has always been a busy month for me, and yes, i like it so much, its a month full of blessing and Rahmat from Allah, and you can see everyone performing their best to get blessings from Him. MasyaAllah! Iftar, terawih with friends, mosque-hopping, gatherings, sleeping overnight at the mosque, Quran recitation, tazkirahs, Subhanallah! i'm really enjoying all these activities with my friends. Things been going on fine for me, projects and planning double up in this month of Ramadhan, going for job interviews...... and i'll be attending my 2nd interview selection workshop this coming Friday, i hope i can get the job and resign from my current job by end of the month......

There has been mixed reactions towards my decision to resign from my current job end of this month. The group that was effected most by my decision was my project team, why not, we have been working closely with one another for the past 3 years and some 8 months, and achieving things that has never been achieved before and suddenly, i made a decision to leave. To some people, they felt that i am making a wrong decision. To some, they understand me and my plans for the future pretty well, so they pray for the best for me. I understand that the bond between us is too great that my resignation seems to be a great blow to some. But hey, cmmon, my resignation doesn't mean that we have to end our friendship, we can still contact one another isnt it.......

I find that the time is just right for me to go and pursue my dreams. I believe with the experience that i gained for the past 3 years, have what it takes for me to embark into something new and achieve what i want in life. InsyaAllah, what i ask from all of you is to pray to Allah to give whats best for me in this life and hereafter. We will meet again, i assure you. For sure, for every beginning there will always be an ending. Till we meet again, my dear friends.....

Semua Untuk Cinta

Just want to share this music video of Mike Mohede entitled "Semua untuk Cinta" with all of you. I dont know, looking at this video reminds me of the past which made me want to post this video up. Well, even the storyline of the video clip is almost, almost the same like my story. The singer, look at him, any resemblance with me, hehehehehe. That's life, there are times when u are so sure of the things u want in life but it ends up not the way u want it to be. Afterall, as humans and humble servant of God, we can only plan, its Him who decides. Count ur blessings, not ur worries.

Semua Untuk Cinta

Dalam lelah kuberharap
Datangnya sebuah keajaiban
Walau berat kurasakan
Namun kulakukan semua untuk cinta

Bila sampai di malam ini
Aku masih bertahan
Ini semua ku persembahkan untukmu

Bila kini aku bahagia
Bukan hanya untukku
Di sini kita pernah menangis bersama

Semoga cinta selalu ada
Dalam hati kita

Dalam lelah kuberharap
Datangnya sebuah keajaiban
Walau berat kurasakan
Namun kulakukan semua untuk cinta

Bila sampai di malam ini
Aku masih bertahan
Ini semua ku persembahkan untukmu

Selama cinta itu
Ada di sisi kita selamanya

Life is a Gift

Today
before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.

Before
you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone
who has nothing to eat.

Before
you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone
who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today
before you complain about life - Think of someone who died
too early on this earth.

Before
you complain about your children - Think of someone who
desires children but they're barren...

Before
you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or
sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before
whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who
walks the same distance with their feet.

And when
you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the
unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your
job..

But
before you think of pointing the finger or condemning
another - Remember that not one of us is without sin.

And when
depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on
your face and think: you're alive and still
around.

Gurindam Jiwa

My all time favourite nostalgic song!

Gurindam Jiwa

Tuai padi antara masak
Esok jangan layu-layuan
Intai kami antara nampak
Esok jangan rindu-rinduan

Anak cina pasang lukah
Lukah dipasang di Tanjung Jati
Di dalam hati tidak ku lupa
Sebagai rambut bersimpul mati

Batang selasih permainan budak
Daun selasih dimakan kuda
Bercerai kasih talak tiada
Seribu tahun kembali juga

Burung merpati terbang seribu
Hinggap seekor di tengah laman
Hendak mati di hujung kuku
Hendak berkubur di tapak tangan

Kalau tuan mudik ke hulu
Carikan saya bunga kemboja
Kalau tuan mati dahulu
Nantikan saya di pintu syurga

Muslim Thinkers Street Survey

Assalamualaikum to all friends, brothers and sisters. Alhamdulillah, Muslim Thinkers department of En-Naeem Mosque had came out with a street survey video that received lots and lots of positive feedbacks through Facebook, Vimeo and emails. It was totally unplanned. Ustaz Noor, Ustaz Hanafi and me were brainstorming and coming out with new ideas to promote Muslim Thinkers to the public. So, the street survey idea came out and we thought of doing it by capturing videos as we interview the members of the public. Alhamdulillah, then again we did not expect that its gonna be a mini production untilll............ Our Bro Ilyas, show his video-editing skills and made the video a must see for everyone. So, sit still, keep your handphones on silent, and just enjoy the show.

Dinner @ Sakura With the Couple

Noor and me sat down one day and decided to give Hanafi and Farizan a treat. Why not..... Just a treat for our newlyweds. So we invited Ilyas, Kak Zu and Zuwainah along to join us, the more the merrier isnt it... It was thursday night, Ilyas, Kak Zu, Noor and Zuwainah head down to Pasir Ris downtown east in my car while Hanafi went home to fetch his wife and will meet us there. It was very convenient for us, the restaurant had a prayer room! and we performed our maghrib prayers there. Subhanallah, May Allah bless that restaurant for sparing some thoughts for their Muslim customers. Except for a person like me, i might consider bringing a towel along if i ever going to pray in that room again. No offence, its just me!

We chatted and laugh all night when we realise that the restaurant started to clean up and ready to close then we make our move. hehehe. I really hope that we could have this kind of mini-gathering often, and to get to know each other much better. Well now at least, Farizan get to know who's her husband's collegues are. :)

YDO Wedding Ceremony

Kpak kpak bing bing! Yeah there it is the sound of kompang as they accompany the bride and bridegroom. Who? its En-Naeem Mosque YDO, Ustaz Hanafi...... When? just last sunday, 5th July. All of us, the staff, youth, azam mentors and the management had attended the wedding ceremony held at Bedok. Alhamdulillah everyone came and made the ceremony more merrier and meaningful for the newly wedding couple. Hanafi and Farizan, my best wishes for both of you. Hmmmm, seeing him.... make me......... hmmm. Bila Kot?

Science Centre Excursion

Last two weeks, hmmmm, cant really remember which date, Azam mentors and students went for an excursion to the Science Centre. I asked Ustaz Noor along and we had fun learning and discovering new knowledge at the science centre. The students had fun too trying out the experiments and exhibits. We headed back to the mosque around 330pm, perform our Zuhur, then the students had some quizzes, Asar then lunch. The its home sweet home for the students. hehehe but not for the mentors, we went for bowling. :)

Aku & Dia Camp

Aku & Dia Camp
Committee and Fascillitator

Gosh! Goodness! This camp was organised 1 month ago, and its only now that i've managed to update my blogpage about it. Aku & Dia camp was initiated by MHDS youth and was supported by En-Naeem Mosque and its youth wing. Despite the late publicity, astonishingly, we managed to pull in an applaudable number of participants to join this camp...... 53 participants, 13 fascillitator and 14 committee members, a total of 80!!!!!!
Alhamdulillah, this camp collaboration between this two organisations went well. Indeed the success of this camp comes along with lots of teamwork, coordination and organising, but in the end what we get out of this, is something, to me, is second to none... what is it? the bond, the strong pact/ties that we've created, the tears and laughter that we had together and lastly the wonderful memories that we had engraved deep in our hearts that we'll bring along as we continue our journey in this life after the camp. I'm sure, this will not be the last time, we will return, with yet another super-dooper, fun, knowledge seeking and loving camp!

THE BEST SHOT

Guys Camp Participants

Anyone that sees the pictures above might think that this camp is all about fun, fun nothing else but fun. Well you see, thats the problem with us humans, we look at things literally from what we see, its appearance, its physical form, its external features and dont bother to find out more. There's always two sides to a coin, but still we dont realise that all of this while we always, ALWAYS! look at things from just one side of the story. This act as a reminder for me first, then you all out there. God create things in pairs, good and bad, male and female, night and day, up and down, skies and earth, fire and water...... so dont just judge a book by its cover.

Apart from just games and laughters, there are a lot of other spiritual and character building activities that we went thru in this camp. We had Qiyammulail, motivational talk, usrahs, tazkirahs, zikr and video presentations. All i have to say, this camp is balanced, we've met our objectives and for sure, i believe that the participants have learnt a lot from us and this camp as much as we've learnt from them.

"It is a beauty of guidance that Allah has bestowed upon us, so that we learnt from each other and be better Muslims as we continue our journey towards the blessed path. May Allah guide us all."

Pardon Me

Salaams my dear friends, brothers and sisters...... Wah! despite all those comments asking me to update my blog...... still its taking me years to update this dilapidated blog page of mine...... pardon me guys...... i'm very bz....... bz with what......... so many things ok! hehehe...... whatever it is....... i'm gonna update by blogpage right now......... so....... be good, sit down..... and be quiet... ok!

Doa Buat Teman-Teman

Bismillahirahmanirahim........

Ameen…

Muslim Thinkers Roadshow @ Madrsah Al-Irsyad

Al-Irsyad express their interest of having us to conduct a Muslim Thinkers Roadshow for them. Therefore, they had invited us to the school to conduct the roadshow for their P4 to Sec1 students. It was a privilege to be able to conduct a roadshow in Al-Irsyad. Why not, its a new building, new facilities, new environment, everything is new! and its right beside the Singapore Islamic Hub.... Subhanallah, indeed, having a madrasah, the islamic hub and a mosque build side by side is a view and experience not to be missed. Alhamdulillah, the workshop went well, the students were very active, responsive and interesting. And they ask a lot of questions too..... i really hope that other schools and madrasahs will invite us soon! InsyaAllah July.... Al-Maarif Instituition........

Aminur and me has known each other for 12years already! We were schoolmates when we were in Secondary 3 in Upper Serangoon Secondary School. After the 'O' levels examination, each of us went on to other institutions for our tertiary level education. I went to Temasek Polytechnic and Aminur went to Tampines Junior College to pursue his 'A' levels education.

Wan and Aminur (BFF)

Now, he's teaching in Siglap Secondary School and me working in En-Naeem Mosque. One day, we met, and wonder what can we do together that can benefit others in our community. So, an idea came and we decide, why not, Aminur organise an activity for his students to visit the mosque, and i together with my collegues in the mosque will organise a character building talk for them, in this case "Inculcating Thinking Culture and Muslim Thinkers" workshop.

NurIkhwan Brothers and Sisters

Last Friday, NurIkhwan (Temasek Poly) invited their Alumni Brothers and Sisters to join them for their 2D1N camp at Darul Gufran Mosque. The camp started around 5 pm. However i can only managed to come down at 11pm, after my gym training. I went to fetch Hazre before heading to the mosque. When we were there, we noticed that the brothers were already preparing to sleep as they were to wake up early at 3am for their long night walk to Istirghfar for Qiyammulail. Sorry guys, sorry for disturbing your sleep. hehe, however, we were given a warm welcome and everyone were told not to sleep first. We had a short 30-45mins sharing session before Hazre and me decides to take our leave as both of us got to work the very next day. I sure do feel proud that the organisation is still active under the leadership of the new committee members. Well Done! Keep up the good work. Despite the sleepy eyes and the late night calling us to sleep, we still managed to take some group pictures! hehehe

What A WEEK!

Another week had gone by, and it has been a week of mixed feelings for me, but the worst
feeling of all was, depression. Nonetheless, life still has to go on. Though i may look happy, cheerful and all , but deep inside me, the blood that oozes out from the wound in my heart is still fresh and is currently in the state of recuperating. Everthing happens for a reason and i believe that something good wil come from all that is happening to me. I believe He knows what's best for me and in Him i have faith. For it is only with Allah's love that you, me and others were created. In reality the level of our understanding and appreciation of one another depends on how well we recognize the qualities and riches that each person possesses. Things that we once love and, InsyaAllah, will continue to love were also created by Him. May Allah forgive us all for our sins and guide us to the path leading to Him.

Subhanallah! Looking things on the brighter side, i'm now spending more time with my family, friends, kewlness brothers and kewlness sisters doing lots of activities together. They are just like the sea, washing all my worries and unhappiness away! Thank You!

THURSDAY
Just last thursday, i went to the mosque at night to help out in the Nasi Ambeng Amal preparations and met up with Daeng. Been so long since i last met him. Surprisingly, other boys came, Salam, Sofyan, Muhammad, Iskandar, Khairul came too..... initially i thought of going back at 2 am, instead i went back at 4am. hehehehe.

FRIDAY
I went home at 4am, slept till 630am, woke up for Subuh, then continue to sleep till 8am. Went back to the mosque at 830am to help the volunteers doing packing for Nasi Ambeng. Had a meeting with Aminur at 12noon in the mosque on certain project issues. Then i perform my Friday prayers before heading home at 4pm.

At 930pm, went over to Daeng's place to pick him and Salam up. The 3 of us are going FISHING!! Gosh, its been 3months! when i last went fishing...... hehehe, we stop by Changi Village to get our baits, tid-bits, drinks and some other fishing supplies. ;) We caught around 7 fish and 1 OCTOPUS! hehehe, that thing sure do surprise us! Octopus kerper! tak pernah pernah dapat!

SATURDAY
I promised to meet up with the Zahra girls for a meeting to discuss on certain issues regarding the organisations' direction, mission and vision statement, June holidays projects and such. We suppose to meet up at Hougang Mall at 1pm, but end up some people had to come at 2.30pm and SOMEONE last minute cant make it, busy packing some stuff at home! hahah! Never mind its ok, we'll meet again some other time ok. So its only the 4 of us, Ayu, Syaheerah, Dee and myself. I must say we had a good meeting, came out with a few things, and the girls will follow up from there. Next Time, korang pula belanja eh! hehehehehehe

After that, rush back home to fetch mum, went marketing with her at Heartland Mall, before we head home at 6pm.

SUNDAY
Someone msg me the other night to ask me out for a breakfast and movie date. Well, i'm so sorry lah eh cant make it..... i ada kenduri lah. I know that its been like years since we last met kan! 3 years maybe! hehehehe, sure sure, i will meet you one of these days, btw its your treat ok, u promised! i will remember that! in actual fact u promised me 3 movies ok! i'm kind enough to bring it down to a meal and one movie. hehehehehe. Oklah, i belanja u satu fries ajerlah ok.

So there you go...... Thats what i've been doing for the past week....... Huh? Where's the sad story? Nah...... Not going to tell you..... its pointless.... Just continue to pray for my well-being alright. Take Care everyone!

"At the very beginning, everything seemed as if it could last till the very end. However, sad to say, it should had actually ended at the very beginning."

Mind Your Soul

Last week, AzZahra and AlFataa organised an event called "Mind Your Soul" for students that will be taking their mid-year examination soon. Participants were taught the different methodologies of effective learning and how they can change their mindset towards learning, studying and examinations. Understanding knowledge, knowlegde seeking from a religious perspective and its role in our purpose in life are the topics covered in this event. Participants will get to sit and listen to a motivational talk by one of our brothers, watch a movie "The Message", self-reflection, qiyammulail and tazkirah session. I would like to personally thank my dear sisters and brothers from the youth group, my friends Ustaz Hanafi, Ustaz Md Noor and Ustazah Zuwainah for making this event a success. InsyaAllah, lets have it again somewhere in June.

Bamboo

One day I decided to quit...I quit my job, my relationship, my Spirituality...I wanted to quit my life.

I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. God, I said. Can you give me one good reason not to quit His answer surprised me...

Look around, God said. Do you see the fern and the bamboo? Yes, I replied.

When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.

But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

God said, in the third year there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit.

God said, and then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots.

Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.

God said to me, did you know, my creation, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.

Don't compare yourself to others. God said, the bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful. Your time will come, God said to me. You will rise high.
I left the forest and bring back this story. I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. God will never give up on you!

Moral: In life never lose hope and never give up or quit in life and Success will come to you later in life.
"I believe that most of us had gone through some hurdles in our life, at times, it brings us down so low that to rise again seems so impossible. God's reminders can come to us in different forms, its really up to us if we ever realise it or not. It is always about diverting our focus from the creations to the Creator Himself. Be constantly reminded of our purpose in life. Sometimes, we forget and sometimes we ignore, only when we are hit by a test then we remember. Ignorance is like a veil drawn over the face of things. The unfortunate ones who cannot remove this veil, will never be able to penetrate into the truths of creation. The greatest ignorance is unawareness of God and if it is combined with arrogance , it becomes a kind of insanity impossible to cure."

Doa Seorang Kekasih

Oh Tuhan, seandainya telah Kau catatkan
Dia milikku, tercipta untuk diriku
Satukanlah hatinya dengan hatiku
Titipkanlah kebahagiaan

Ya Allah, ku mohon
Apa yang telah Kau takdirkan
Ku harap dia adalah yang terbaik buatku
Kerana Engkau tahu segala isi hatiku
Pelihara daku dari kemurkaanMu

Ya Tuhanku, yang Maha Pemurah
Beri kekuatan jua harapan
Membina diri yang lesu tak bermaya
Semaikan setulus kasih di jiwa

Ku pasrah kepadaMu
Kurniakanlah aku
Pasangan yang beriman
Bisa menemani aku
Supaya ku dan dia
Dapat melayar bahtera
Ke muara cinta yang Engkau redhai

Ya Tuhanku, yang Maha Pengasih
Engkau sahaja pemeliharaku
Dengarkan rintihan hambaMu ini
Jangan Engkau biarkan ku sendiri

Agarku bisa bahagia
Walau tanpa bersamanya
Gantikanlah yang hilang
Tumbuhkan yang telah patah
Ku inginkan bahagia
Di dunia dan akhirat
PadaMu Tuhan ku mohon segala

Understanding Love

I had a wonderful time with my dear brothers and sisters from the mosque youth wing, when we attended a talk on Quran and Science at Sultan Mosque 3 weeks ago. The outing turns out to be a bonding session for us all, and yeah, Alhamdulillah, we bonded well and at the same time, increasing our knowledge about Islam. We had our lunch at Raffles Hospital Banquet, and there’s where story sharing everything started. We shared some stories during lunch until it was my turn to tell some story. Jamaliah sitting in front of me suddenly raise a suggestion, “Wan why don’t you share with us about the book that you read?” Then Ayu said “Yeah you mentioned you want to share something about “Love”?” Yeah, and so I did share something about the book entitled “Love and Tolerance” by Fethullah Gulen, a famous and well known spiritual teacher in Turkey. Everyone had their eyes glued on me, and was listening carefully to every word that I said. Who doesn’t, its about love, an interesting topic that I guess everyone would like to talk about. Alhamdulillah. It was my pleasure to share everything that I know to my brothers and sisters. Surprisingly a few days after that, Syaheerah came up to me and asked something that caught me with surprise. She asked “Abg Wan, I can see your eyes glittering as u were telling us the story the other day, its as if you were saying those things to someone, someone special…, kan?” Hmmm….. yeah you got that right dear sis. InsyaAllah…. May Allah guide us all towards the right path….
To that special person, wherever you may be, i would like to say thank you for everything. May Allah guides us both towards His pleasure and paradise. Ameen.

So hear goes, I’m sharing what I’ve read so far. The book really changes my perspective of love onto another level of understanding. It’s a good book, and I strongly recommend it to everyone, the language is simple yet its meaning is deep. Many people that I’ve talked to and ask about love have different understanding towards love, for sure, none of their answers and opinions about love is wrong. Everyone knows that “love” is something so positive and so pure that it can bring people together in harmony and create the happiness that each of us yearns for. However, does our understanding and definition of love is like those been defined in Hollywood love movies, Bollywood movies, is our love just for world ornaments that will eventually fades, is love so small that it is confined to just that. No! It’s huge! The definition is huge!

Love is the most essential element of every being, and it is the most radiant light, and it is the greatest power, able to resist and overcome all else. It is with His love that we are created and it is because of His love that everything is created. It is impossible for souls without love to be elevated to the horizon of human perfection. Even if someone were to live for hundreds and thousands of years, without it, they could not advance on the path to perfection. Those who are deprived of love, as they are caught and entangled in the nets of selfishness, are unable to love anybody else and die unaware of the love that is deeply instilled in the very being of existence.

Look at things from a different perspective, with different thoughts and you’ll soon realize His love being instilled in every creation there is. There are impressions of love on the face of the sun, water evaporates, rising towards those impressions, and after it has been condensed in drops high above, the drops fall joyfully onto the earth on wings of love. Then thousands of flowers burst through with love, offering smiles to the surroundings. Dew drops on leaves glitter with love and twinkle with amusement. Sheep and lambs bleat and skip about with love, and birds and chicks chirp with love and form choruses of love. Never did I realise all this things, and appreciate nature like I use to now, after reading the book.

The most direct way to the hearts of people is the way of love, the way of the Prophets. Those who follow are rarely rejected; even if they are rejected by a few, they are welcomes by thousands. Once they are welcomed thru love, nothing can prevent them from attaining their ultimate goal, God’s pleasure. After all that’s exactly our purpose in life.

How happy and prosperous are those who follow the guidance of love. How unfortunate, on the other, are those who lead the life of “the deaf and dumb”, unaware of the innate love deep in their souls!

Love is an elixir, human lives with love, is made happy by love and makes those around him or her happy with love. In the vocabulary of humanity, love is life; we feel and sense each other with love.

God Almighty has not created a stronger relation than love, this chain that binds humans to one another.

In this over-populated world, where evil is everywhere, if there is something that has been left untouched and clean, that is love, among all the fading ornaments of this life, if there is beauty that has preserved it magnificence and charm without fading, that is also love. There is nothing more real and more lasting than love in any nation or society in this world.

If Lord did not love creation, there would be neither moons, nor suns nor stars. There wouldn’t be me and you. Did we realise that? The heavens are all the poems of love, with the Earth being the rhyme.

Up to this very moment, only those who are immersed in hatred, wrath and enmity plan to resist and struggle against love. Ironically, the only cure that will calm these brutal souls is love.

The messengers and prophets extinguished the fires of hatred and jealousy kindled by the pharaohs, the nimrods and other tyrannous king, they used nothing but love. Love is a remedy to all kinds of heart sickness.

Our interest in our environment and our love for humankind- that is, our ability to embrace creation – depends on knowing and understanding our own essence, our ability to discover ourselves, and to feel a connection with our Creator. In parallel with the ability to discover and feel our inner depths and hidden potential within our essence, we will also be able to appreciate that others also possess the same potential. Moreover because these inner values are directly related to the Creator, and because a respect for the riches that are hidden in every creature is nurtured, we will start to see every living thing from a different perspective and in a different manner. In reality the level of our understanding and appreciation of one another depends on how well we recognize the qualities and riches that each person possesses. We can summarize this concept with a thought based on a saying of the Prophet Muhammad s.a.w, peace and blessings be upon him, “A believer is the mirror of another believer.” Or if we were to enlarge on this saying, “a human is a mirror of another human.” If we are able to succeed in doing this, as well as being able to understand and appreciate the riches hidden within every person, we will also understand how to relate these riches to their true Owner, and thus we will accept that anything in this universe that is beautiful, affectionate, or loving belongs to Him.

In our present culture, it is not easy to witness such deep understanding of these humane feelings and values. Islamic thought sees each of us as a different manifestation of a unique ore, as different aspects of one reality. Indeed, the people who have gathered around common points, such as the Oneness of God, the Prophet, and the religion resemble the limbs of body. The hand does not need to compete with the foot, the tongue does not criticize the lips, the eye does not see the mistakes of the ears, the heart does not struggle with the mind.

If only everyone could understand this deep meaning and essence that lies deep in every soul, there will be peace. May Allah guide us all.

Leave you all in Allah's Love and Care.

Wedding Catering Services

Last Saturday and Sunday proves to be the most tiring weekend ever. I've been in wedding catering all over Singapore for the past 7 years, together with my family, uncles, aunties and cousins, but nothing beats what we went thru last weekend in Jurong. Its is estimated that 1000 people will come, but in the end, nearly 1400 came and for that all of us were caught off guard and had to rush here and there to cook extra food for the unexpected guests. The owner had forgotten to add in the number of guests after she had printed additional invitation cards for 400 more guests. Goodness. However, everything went alright, everyone is happy and the wedding ceremony went well. Looking forward to this June, where we were called to cook for my mum's friend at Buangkok Village. A chance not to be missed! hehehehe
